Bac Ninh welcomes nearly 1.2 million visitors in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Bac Ninh welcomed nearly 1.2 million visitors, an increase of 60% over the same period in 2024; Total revenue is estimated at 915 billion VND, an increase of 53% over the same period in 2024. This result shows that Bac Ninh is becoming an attractive tourist destination for many domestic and foreign tourists.

From the heat of the MV Bac Bling, from the beginning of March 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has consulted on building a plan to organize free tours with the theme "Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors" every Saturday and Sunday. Right from the first week of testing, it has attracted a large number of people to participate.

In response to the needs of the people and tourists, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has advised to increase tours, increase trips, and open an online registration channel to facilitate people. Instead of 2 tours with 4 trips/day before, it has increased to 4 tours with 8 trips/day and served more than 700 guests/week. After 4 weeks of implementation, Bac Ninh has more than 2,100 visitors participating in the free tours.

In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to direct and organize free tours "Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors" every Saturday and Sunday until the end of June 2025.
