Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has just announced that she won first prize in the scientific research topic on swimming at the 2023 National Scientific Research Student Conference on Physical Education and Sports. The girl born in 1996 was successful with the topic: "Research on some measures to increase interest in swimming practice for children aged 8-10 at Anh Vien Swimming Club".
Anh Vien expressed: " I am lucky to win First Prize. Anh Vien is very happy and wants to share this joy with everyone. I would like to thank the judges, teachers, especially Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh for enthusiastically guiding and instructing me on this topic. I will try to bring my research to Anh Vien Swim Club for further development. I hope that on the upcoming journey, Anh Vien will still have everyone by her side to support and encourage her ."
Anh Vien won first prize with her research topic.
In early October 2021, Anh Vien submitted a request not to join the Vietnamese swimming team after many years of association. The reason the 25-year-old swimmer gave was that she had passed her peak and wanted to take time to take care of herself. She took time to rest and opened a swimming club named after herself.
Nguyen Thi Anh Vien won 25 SEA Games Gold Medals. After experiencing heavy pressure from declining performance and form, the pride of the country's swimming decided to end her dream of contributing to the country's sports. Anh Vien's choice to put aside her peak competitive career at the age of 26 left many regrets for sports fans in general and swimming fans in particular.
Although she has just entered the TikTok platform, Anh Vien has quickly shown her influence with videos continuously appearing on the trending list. The videos posted by Anh Vien focus on sharing swimming knowledge such as swimming techniques, floating techniques, etc. She attracts attention from the online community thanks to her in-depth knowledge and friendly sharing style.
