In addition, the new Ryzen 7040 series laptops are also attracting attention thanks to the integration of the first dedicated AI engine on an x86 processor, based on AMD's XDNA architecture. AMD also shared the roadmap for desktop CPU development on the Zen 5 architecture, expected to be announced in 2024.
