The two recently attracted attention with the news of having a child at the age of 80. On May 30, Pacino announced that he was about to welcome his fourth child with his lover, Nooh Alfallah, 53 years younger. Previously, the actor had one child with his ex-girlfriend, acting coach Jan Tarrant (now 33 years old), and two children with actress Beverly D'Angelo (now 71 years old). Both actors were born in New York, only children to fathers of Italian descent. Their upbringings were affected by their parents' divorce, especially De Niro. At the age of 13, he joined a gang in Little Italy and dropped out of school. However, he later reformed and pursued an acting career under the guidance of actress Stella Adler.
Pacino was born into a poor family and worked many jobs such as a postman, a security guard and a busker to make ends meet. The actor often spent hours watching black and white movies and received support from his mother and grandparents on his path to becoming an actor.
Both began to gain attention in the early 1970s when they participated in popular works. After a period of participating in theater, De Niro appeared in the crime film Mean Streets in 1973, working under the guidance of director Martin Scorsese. That same year, Pacino received an Oscar nomination for his role as Michael Corleone in the masterpiece The Godfather . In an interview with the New York Times in March 2022, the actor said that The Godfather was the film that helped him get to where he is today in his career.
In 1974, The Godfather II marked the first time Pacino and De Niro appeared together in a film project. De Niro took on the role of a young Vito Corleone, while Pacino continued to play Michael Corleone. Nearly 20 years later, the two actors reunited in the bank robbery film Heat (1995). Pacino and De Niro continued to appear together in two other projects, Righteous Kill (2008) and The Irishman (2019), which received nine Oscar nominations in 2020.

After The Godfather II - the film that helped De Niro win an Oscar in the Supporting Actor category, the two actors became the most sought-after faces in Hollywood. In 1976, De Niro reunited with director Scorsese, playing the lonely taxi driver Travis in Taxi Driver .
According to Backstage , while preparing for the project, the actor used method acting by getting a real-life taxi license and watching other drivers interact with customers. In 1981, De Niro also used a similar method when starring in Raging Bull - a film that helped him win another Oscar in the Best Actor category.
At the 2022 Oscars, the trio of Pacino, De Niro and director Francis Ford Coppola reunited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Godfather . Coppola said: "I want to send my sincere thanks to Pacino and De Niro. This project began 50 years ago with the participation of talented actors, some of whom are now legends."
At the age of 79, De Niro continues to appear in blockbuster films such as Joker (2019), The Irishman (2019) and Killers of the Flower (2023). The actor is currently filming the gangster film Wise Guys , scheduled to be released in February 2024. Similar to his close friend, Al Pacino has no intention of retiring from the big screen. In 2020, he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor in The Irishman . Two years later, the documentary Becoming Al Pacino by director Jean-Baptiste Peretie was released, telling the story of the 83-year-old actor's life full of ups and downs.

Robert Mario De Niro, Jr. (born August 17, 1943), commonly known as Robert De Niro, is an American actor, director, and film producer.
In 1974, Robert De Niro had his turning point as the young Don Vito Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part II. This role brought De Niro his first Academy Award when he was awarded Best Supporting Actor in 1975, two years after Marlon Brando was awarded Best Actor for the same role in The Godfather. Brando and De Niro later co-starred in The Score (2001).
Robert De Niro married his first wife, actress Diahnne Abbott, in 1976, and the couple had one child together, Raphael, and De Niro also adopted Abbott's daughter, Drena. Robert also had two in vitro fertilization twins, Julian Henry and Aaron Kendrick, with his longtime girlfriend Toukie Smith.
After divorcing Diahnne in 1988, in 1997, De Niro married his second wife, Grace Hightower, a former flight attendant.

In October 1997, Pacino was ranked fourth on Empire magazine's list of the greatest film stars of all time, and he also topped a list by Channel 4 (UK).
Pacino has never been married but has three children. His eldest daughter, Julie Marie, is with Pacino and Jan Tarrant. He also has twins Anton and Olivia with his ex-girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo.
