The Party Committee of Agribank has seriously carried out the tasks of Party building with the functions and roles of a grassroots Party organization, perfecting the leadership method according to the model of the Party Committee of the whole system implementing Regulation No. 60-QD/TW of the Secretariat; Leading political tasks with a focus on evaluating and summarizing major plans and projects of Agribank in the period of 2016 - 2020, building and implementing new strategies. Agribank Party Committee has achieved important achievements by focusing on Party building, innovation and improving the quality and methods of organization and implementation with the motto of taking the lead, leading directly and comprehensively. Party building work continues to be promoted, the pioneering role of leadership and direction of the Party Committee is clearly demonstrated, being the core in implementing the guidelines, policies and policies of the Party and State and organizing the successful implementation of political tasks. The Agribank Party Committee always pays attention to the work of educating and improving the level and awareness of political theory, focusing on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, innovating and enhancing the training of political theory for cadres, party members and workers, correctly identifying the manifestations and risks and proposing solutions to fight, prevent and repel the degradation of political ideology, morality and lifestyle, the manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party. With the spirit of solidarity and overcoming difficulties, the entire Party Committee of Agribank always upholds the spirit of initiative, creativity, effectively implements and completes well the targets and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 10th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term, making an important contribution to the implementation of the Resolution of the 3rd Central Business Bloc Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Up to now, the Agribank Party Committee has completed and exceeded the targets of Party building work according to the set plan, 11/11 groups of leadership targets to carry out political tasks for the entire 2020-2025 term. In particular, in 2023, operating in the context of the economy facing many difficulties after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Agribank Party Committee has comprehensively led and directed all aspects of work, led the entire system to focus all resources, effectively deploy the key tasks and solutions set out, promptly deploy and organize the implementation of the directions of the Party, the Government, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the State Bank of Vietnam with practical solutions, ensuring stable, safe and effective operations, improving the capacity to forecast, analyze and assess the actual situation to have appropriate and timely guidance solutions. Maintaining a key role in the financial market Following the direction of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the State Bank and the actual situation, Agribank aims to become a modern bank, according to international standards, improving competitiveness, maintaining a key role in the financial market in the agricultural and rural areas. With the direct and close leadership and direction of the Party Committee, from 2020 to present, Agribank has excellently completed, achieved and exceeded the targets assigned by the State Bank; Business efficiency, brand reputation, income of nearly 40 thousand employees have been improved, labor productivity has increased, continuing to maintain its position as the largest bank in terms of total assets, outstanding loans, capital, number of customers, network system and number of employees, playing a key role in serving the "Three Farmers" policy of the Party and Government, contributing to ensuring national defense and security, implementing well social security activities, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, preparing internal resources to be ready for equitization. In 2023, to promptly resolve difficulties and increase access to capital for people and businesses, Agribank will continue to effectively implement seven policy credit programs, national target programs, and implement the debt repayment restructuring policy according to Circular 02 of the State Bank, implement 13 preferential credit programs with a scale of VND 200 trillion, and adjust lending interest rates eight times to directly support customers. In the context of slow credit growth, Agribank flexibly mobilizes capital, manages interest rates, and capital adjustment fees appropriately, and reduces operating costs to create conditions to reduce lending interest rates to support customers. With stable growth in mobilized capital and the successful issuance of VND 10,000 billion in bonds to the public, Agribank is always ready with capital to serve the needs of people and businesses, ensuring liquidity and operational safety ratios. Agribank continues to focus on developing a variety of modern products and services, applying high technology, continuing to transform the multi-service business model towards developing a professional, modern bank with top service quality under the motto "Customer-centric"; pioneering with the banking industry in digital transformation; actively developing non-cash payments, the National Comprehensive Financial Strategy, and units in the Central Enterprise Sector to enhance the reputation and position of Vietnamese enterprises, effectively implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" associated with the Project on developing the domestic market; continuing to be one of the enterprises with the largest contribution to the State budget. With efforts to synchronously deploy solutions, by the end of 2023, Agribank has fully completed the business plan targets. Total assets exceeded 2 million billion VND; capital reached more than 1.88 million billion VND; Total outstanding loans to the economy reached over 1.55 million billion VND, of which 65% were loans for the development of "Tam Nong". The operational safety ratios met the regulations. Agribank was approved by the National Assembly and the Government to provide additional charter capital of 17,100 billion VND, creating the potential to expand business activities and provide capital to contribute to economic development. Agribank's reputation and brand continued to be affirmed and recognized. Agribank was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the State for its outstanding achievements in lending and developing the agricultural economy. Fitch Ratings upgraded Agribank's Long-Term Issuer Rating to "BB+" with a "Stable" outlook, equivalent to the national rating. The world's leading brand valuation organization Brand Finance ranked Agribank - Top 10 most valuable brands in Vietnam 2023. 2023 is the 7th consecutive year that Agribank is in the Top 10 largest enterprises in Vietnam according to the VNR500 Ranking; won the Sao Khue Award: Outstanding Vietnamese Bank Award. 2024 is the pivotal year to prepare for the 11th Agribank Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
