At the ceremony, Director of Agribank Ben Tre Branch Phan Minh Chau said that through the province's initiative this year, the unit mainly focused on social security resources, and submitted to the central bank a request for 70 houses with a total cost of 4.2 billion VND. At the same time, it also mobilized 1 day's salary of workers with the amount of 326 million VND, to build about 5 houses.

With this small contribution, the unit wishes to join hands with the province to implement the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. The provincial branch also committed to local leaders with many funding sources to continue to accompany the province in social security work in the coming time.

On behalf of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung said that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ben Tre has been implemented for many years with the support of many sources, including banks in the province.

Now, receiving 4.2 billion VND from Agribank Ben Tre Branch to build and remove temporary and dilapidated houses is extremely meaningful. Agribank Ben Tre Branch is one of the first pioneers in implementing this policy. The province highly appreciates this noble gesture, this is a gesture, a proactive act, actively contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.

The province's program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is divided into 2 phases, phase 1 is expected to end by April 30, 2025; in which the funding for poor and near-poor households is from the state budget. In addition, the province also mobilizes other resources to build houses for households in difficult circumstances. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will commit to implementing the funding source today for the right purpose, spending it on the subjects on the list approved by the Provincial People's Committee. Hopefully, in the coming time, the banking units will continue to accompany the locality in the social security program.
