U.23 Vietnam will be in Group D of the U.23 Asian Cup with opponents Uzbekistan, Malaysia and Kuwait. Overall, this is not a very difficult group for coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his players. Therefore, AFC believes that U.23 Vietnam will easily pass the group stage and become a big challenge for the teams in the quarterfinals.

U.23 Vietnam has reached the final round after topping Group C of the qualifying round with 7 points.
