The Michelin Guide 2024 introduces a total of 164 dining establishments to residents and visitors. Of these, 7 restaurants have achieved one Michelin star, 58 restaurants have achieved Bib Gourmand and 99 restaurants have been selected by Michelin (Michelin Selected).
Representatives of restaurants in Vietnam received a Michelin star at an announcement ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of June 27.
Seven restaurants in Vietnam were awarded one Michelin star, including four restaurants that were awarded stars for the first time last year: Gia, Hibana By Koki, Tam Vi and Anan Saigon, and three new restaurants: Akuna (HCMC), La Maison 1888 (Da Nang) and The Royal Pavilion (HCMC). The Royal Pavilion was upgraded from Michelin Selected last year.

La Maison 1888 (Da Nang) - restaurant serving 5 or 7 course menu with premium ingredients from Vietnam, France and Japan.
The only restaurant from the Michelin Selected list to be promoted to one Star is The Royal Pavilion (HCMC) - a restaurant with a variety of dishes for customers to choose from.
In Da Nang, 36 establishments were honored, including 16 establishments in Bib Gourmand; 19 restaurants/eateries in the Michelin Selected list; and especially La Maison 1888 restaurant in the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula resort, which received 1 Michelin star.
Located in a resort that has been honored by the World Travel Awards as the most luxurious in the world for 4 consecutive years, La Maison 1988 is known as the first restaurant in Vietnam to collaborate with chef Pierre Gagnaire - one of the 10 best chefs in the world who owns prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants.

As a new city in the Michelin Guide 2024 destination list in Vietnam, Da Nang represents the cuisine of the Central region.
The dishes in the coastal city leave an unforgettable impression with fresh ingredients instead of complicated recipes.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed: "The brilliance of a destination like Da Nang associated with Michelin makes the city's appeal stronger and stronger.
Choosing Da Nang to evaluate and award stars is a very correct, accurate and quality direction of Michelin as this is an emerging destination, a city worth visiting and worth living.
