Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang has set five goals for VEAM in 2025 to strive for double-digit growth.
On February 7, 2025 in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, Southern Engine and Agricultural Machinery Company Limited (SVEAM) - a member unit of Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation - JSC (VEMA) held the "Spring At Ty 2025 Launch Ceremony" and cut the ribbon to launch the first batch of Spring 2025.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister Phan Thi Thang, representatives of the Departments and Divisions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation - JSC (VEAM) and all officers and employees at SVEAM.
5 goals for double-digit growth
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 production launch ceremony, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy General Director of VEAM and Chairman of the Board of Members (BOD) of SVEAM Company said: all officers, employees, and workers, together with the leadership of the Board of Directors, will strive and be determined for SVEAM to achieve more success in 2025 and respond to the national movement to compete to achieve practical achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

After attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony to launch the first batch of goods in Spring 2025, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade gave a speech and assigned five groups of tasks and plans to VEAM and SVEAM in the coming period.
Firstly, continue to innovate thinking to develop and organize the implementation of tasks, solutions and determination to strive to achieve higher growth targets to contribute to the successful implementation of the tasks of VEAM in particular and the Industry and Trade sector in general in 2025, creating a solid foundation for double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 planning period;

Second, constantly strive to find solutions to exploit SVEAM's traditional brand for Power Machinery and Agricultural Machinery products, thereby clearly defining the goals and solutions for developing new products and applying advanced technology in accordance with the strategy, planning, and socio-economic development plan, industry, region, and local development in the medium term 2026-2030. This is an important strategic task, decisive for the sustainable development of the Corporation as well as SVEAM, both promoting growth and concretizing the goal of self-reliance in domestic production and consumption according to the Government's policy;

Third, concretize the plan to implement Resolution 03 of the Government to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation to apply in business administration, production and business activities to reduce costs and increase the competitiveness of domestically produced products compared to imported products;
Fourth, take advantage of policies issued by competent authorities to reduce costs and expand production; strengthen coordination with units inside and outside the Ministry to participate in trade promotion activities, develop markets to promote products, brands and boost exports;
Fifth, thoroughly implement Directive No. 17/CT-BCT dated December 30, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on emulation and rewards in 2025 to raise awareness of cadres, party members, and workers about the role of emulation work and strengthen the role and responsibility of the government and organizations in organizing emulation movements in production activities.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade hopes that with the support and sharing from leaders at all levels, all cadres and employees at SVEAM in particular and VEAM in general will join hands, unite, promote intelligence, creativity, innovation, with determination and the highest effort to compete in labor production to achieve achievements to complete and exceed the goals and tasks set in 2025.
Synchronously deploy tasks assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade
Receiving the direction of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Ngo Khai Hoan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VEAM said that the Board of Directors of VEAM will synchronously deploy these tasks throughout the Corporation, including SVEAM and its member companies.

Firstly, regarding innovation in thinking, continue to direct member companies to apply appropriate governance forms in corporate governance as well as promote the development of high-quality and technical products.
Second, promote trade and export products to foreign markets, including traditional markets such as Sri Lanka, Myanmar...
Third, the Corporation's support activities focus on various support services: calculating investment in machinery and equipment to develop new products, supporting in brand promotion, supporting the development of new products, especially environmentally friendly products such as electric motors in the coming period, as well as connecting promotional activities abroad.

Fourth, learn about and participate in government programs to support farmers with production tools.
Fifth, coordinate more closely with units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade such as the Department of Science and Technology to build technical barriers to limit poor quality products in the domestic market, thereby increasing room for SVEAM and the Corporation's products.
At the same time, VEAM will coordinate with market management forces to prevent counterfeit goods, affecting the Corporation's brand.
