This is the 5th consecutive time (from 2019 to present) that Cuc Phuong National Park has held this noble title.

With an area of 22,408 hectares, located in 3 provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, Cuc Phuong National Park covers an extremely valuable biodiversity value system, is one of the places with high biodiversity in Vietnam with many rare species of animals and plants listed in the Vietnam Red Book.
Up to now, Cuc Phuong National Park has recorded 2,427 species belonging to 931 genera and 231 plant families. Of these, 430 are medicinal plants, 229 are edible plants, and 240 are plants that can be used as dyes...
In addition to the diversity of vegetation, Cuc Phuong's fauna is also extremely rich and unique. Research results have recorded 669 vertebrate species belonging to 120 families, 35 orders, including: 138 mammal species, 337 bird species, 80 reptile species, 48 amphibian species, 66 fish species, of which 73 animal species are listed in the Vietnam Red Book and IUCN 2020 List...
Along with the diversity and richness of flora and fauna, Cuc Phuong is also a wonderful natural museum preserving many traces of life from prehistoric times to the present day. These are fossils, remains, tools... in the caves - important documents recording the lives of all species, recording the ups and downs of geological development history through the ages.
Taking raising awareness of nature through ecotourism as a foundation, in recent years, Cuc Phuong National Park has aimed to research, develop and operate innovative products.
"Going home" tour - participating in animal release after rescue; "Adding green to the old forest" tree planting - 1 billion tree planting program, responding to the Government's call; "Revival journey" - participating in the process of rescuing and caring for wild animals; "Growing up with the great forest" summer camp... are the products that have created the Cuc Phuong eco-tourism brand.
WTA is one of the leading awards in the global tourism industry, considered the "Oscar of the tourism industry". This award aims to honor outstanding tourist destinations and contribute to promoting sustainable tourism development.
