Along with visiting and encouraging workers to return to work in the first days of the new year, the comrades wished a happy new year and gave lucky money to workers and their children; hoping that workers would continue to promote the spirit of creative work, contributing to the development of the enterprise, the capital in particular and the country in general.
This is the second year the Union has worked together to transport workers.
Bringing along her two young children, Ms. Ha Thi Hoan, living in Vinh Loc district, a worker at SEI Vietnam Electronic Components Co., Ltd. in Bac Thang Long Industrial Park, shared: “My family has two young children, and it is not convenient to take a direct bus from Vinh Loc district to Hanoi, so it is difficult to pick up and catch a bus when returning to work. The support bus from the union not only helps our family save some money but also encourages us to have more motivation to try to complete our work well.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Pham, a worker at DENSO Vietnam Co., Ltd. happily said: “I feel very lucky because the bus will stop at a very convenient location to go back to my boarding house. Many years ago, every time I went back to my hometown to celebrate Tet, I thought about taking a bus to go back to work, but all the buses were cramped and crowded, and if I took a shared bus, the price would be very high. With this meaningful program organized by the Union, not only is my travel more convenient, I also get to visit and receive lucky money at the beginning of the year."
At exactly 6:30 a.m., the buses departed, taking workers back to Hanoi to resume work tomorrow (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year).
Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Zones of Thanh Hoa Province, Ngo The Anh, shared: "The coordinated activity of organizing worker transportation not only helps workers to be more connected with the Trade Union organization but also helps union members to be more connected in work and life away from home. We will make efforts and coordinate with departments, branches, localities and the Labor Federations of districts, towns, city unions and industry unions so that this program continues to spread more widely in the coming years. The trips will be more and more numerous, with more workers, warmer and more affectionate."
