4 PSG pillars banned from next round, Mbappe in trouble

During the 4-0 win over Marseille in Ligue 1 on September 25, in front of the Virage Auteuil stand at home, PSG fans made insulting remarks aimed at Marseille fans.

Some reports from match officials said that a group of four PSG players were also involved, namely Kolo Muani, Dembele, Hakimi and Kurzawa. French Sports Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera expressed concern about this behavior.

After investigating and speaking with the four players, the IFL has decided to suspend the players for the match against Rennes in round 8 and decided to close the Auteuil stadium for two matches.

Earlier, the group of players posted a message on social media apologizing for insulting Marseille: "A week ago, we all celebrated our great victory in the French derby at home at the Parc des Princes.

After the game, we let ourselves get carried away with the excitement. We were well aware of the impact our actions and words had on the fans, especially the young children who dreamed of watching a game like this.

We deeply regret the inappropriate words and send our most sincere apologies. In the future, we will try to avoid making this mistake."

PSG's match against Rennes in round 8 of Ligue 1 will take place in the early morning of October 9. Mbappe's team is currently ranked 5th with 12 points after 7 rounds and is only 2 points behind the top team.
