The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has just sent a telegram to relevant units in the aviation industry to proactively respond to storm No. 7 (storm Yinxing).

According to forecast information, airports forecast to be directly affected by storm Yinxing include Phu Bai International Airport, Da Nang International Airport and Chu Lai Airport. Other airports: Dong Hoi, Phu Cat, Pleiku, Tuy Hoa need to proactively update information in case the storm has unusual developments.

To proactively respond to storm Yinxing, the Department requires agencies and units to organize 24/7 duty according to regulations and strictly implement the storm and tropical depression response procedures in civil aviation activities.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam also requested the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation to direct aviation meteorological service providers to strengthen the work of ensuring the quality of meteorological information, continuously monitor the weather situation in the area of ​​responsibility, update forecasts and warnings; and provide timely and complete monitoring, forecasting and warning information to users.

For airports forecast to be affected by the storm, airlines, and flight operation service providers, the Department requests units to strengthen coordination, closely monitor the storm's developments to have plans to adjust flight plans or change flight schedules accordingly in some localities directly affected and ensure flight safety.
