Gia Lai province's senior leaders visit and present gifts to Team K52

Accordingly, the delegation visited the units of Team K52, which are stationed and carrying out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Preah Vihear and Stung Treng provinces (Kingdom of Cambodia).

At the places visited, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat and comrades in the working delegation of Gia Lai province offered incense to the souls of heroic martyrs of volunteer soldiers and Vietnamese experts who sacrificed their lives during the war, who were recently searched for and gathered in Preah Vihear and Stung Treng provinces during the 2024-2025 dry season.

At the same time, we express our deep gratitude to the previous generations of fathers and brothers with a pure and noble international spirit who volunteered to go to help our friendly country Cambodia to expel and destroy the Pol Pot genocidal regime. Their blood has colored the heroic tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army and colored the solidarity, friendship and close bond between the two countries of Vietnam and Cambodia.

It is known that up to this point in the 2024-2025 dry season, Team K52 has searched for and collected 22 remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in the three northeastern provinces of Cambodia, including: Preah Vihear, Stung Treng and Ratanakiri.

Visiting and presenting gifts to Team K52, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Truong Van Dat and members of the provincial delegation encouraged the unit's officers and soldiers to continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome all difficulties and hardships to successfully complete assigned tasks.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the forces and people of the neighboring country in carrying out the task of searching, gathering, and soon bringing the heroic martyrs to rest in the bosom of the motherland of Vietnam. In particular, it is necessary to do well the work of mass mobilization, diplomacy as well as strictly comply with the policies and laws of the neighboring country, leaving a good impression in the hearts of the Cambodian people about the image of the "Uncle Ho's soldiers".
