3 siblings missing in Kim Son

Three children, brothers in Kim Tan commune, Kim Son district, have been missing for two days and there is no information yet.

On the morning of September 24, speaking with Ninh Binh Newspaper reporter, Mr. Tran Anh Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Kim Tan Commune People's Council, Kim Son District said: At 8:30 p.m. on September 22, Mr. Tran Van Tuan, born in 1985 (residing in Hamlet 12, Kim Tan Commune, Kim Son District) went to Kim Tan Commune Police to report the disappearance of his 3 children: Tran Anh Tu (12 years old); Tran Thuy Tien (8 years old) and Tran Anh Tai (5 years old).

All three children left home around 9am that morning and have not returned. When they left home, they were walking and did not wear sandals. The family searched many places but could not find them.

"As soon as the news was received, the local authorities made a public announcement over the loudspeaker system. At the same time, they mobilized forces to coordinate with the family to search. The search focused on ponds, lakes, and rivers near the family, but as of 8:45 this morning (September 24), all three children had not been found," said a representative of Kim Tan commune.

It is known that the three children are all studying at schools in Kim Tan commune. Mr. Tuan and his wife have been divorced for a long time, the children live with their father and grandparents. At noon, when he did not see his children, Mr. Tuan panicked and searched for them but could not find them.

The family is still working with the commune authorities and district police to search for the three children.
