National brands have a pioneering and leading role.
Through the program, many Vietnamese corporations and businesses have become aware of the role and importance of branding - considered the "key" to increasing product value, business value, and ensuring sustainable development.
Especially in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation and green transformation are taking place strongly and are the main trends. Enterprises have paid more attention to building, developing and managing brands, contributing to improving competitiveness, affirming their position and pioneering role, creating a spillover effect and leading.
Speaking at the program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that building and developing the Vietnamese national brand is a task of special importance and strategic significance, a mission of all of us with perseverance, effort and unceasing creativity; in which, building national product brands is one of the core contents.
In particular, 190 enterprises with products achieving National Brand in 2024 all had impressive business results with total revenue in 2023 reaching 2.4 million billion VND, total payment to the state budget of about 150,000 billion VND.
Enterprises have ensured jobs for over 600,000 workers and people, actively participating in social security activities.
Over the past 20 years, the number of enterprises with products achieving National Brand status has continued to increase over the years. From 30 enterprises in 2008 to 190 enterprises in 2024. This contributes to building the Vietnamese National Brand.
As evidenced by Brand Finance's assessment, in recent years, Vietnam's National Brand has made great strides.
Vietnam is in the Top 100 countries with strong brands, and is the country with the fastest brand value growth rate in the world in the period 2019 - 2022.
Vietnam's brand value in 2024 is ranked 32nd out of 193 countries assessed, reaching 507 billion USD, up 1 rank and 2% in value compared to 2023.
The results also show that in the context of digital transformation, green transformation, and circular economy being inevitable trends, Vietnamese enterprises with their creativity can take advantage of this opportunity to rise up and play an active role in the global transformation.

Prioritize support for businesses with products achieving National Brand status, to pioneer and participate more actively in the process of building and promoting the Vietnamese national brand, contributing to enhancing the image of Vietnam in the international arena.
Continue to propose and advise on creating a favorable, transparent, and highly competitive legal environment in the region and globally. Resolutely and persistently eliminate the "ask - give" mechanism, reduce and simplify administrative procedures, and improve the investment and business environment.
Prioritize emerging industries and sectors, remove difficulties for investment and business, and create conditions for development. Promote development activities, expand and diversify export markets, diversify supply chains, support connections associated with building, managing and developing product and brand brands.
