NSRP joins hands to build shelters for poor households in Nghi Son town

On the morning of April 3, the Steering Committee for implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in Nghi Son town received support to build 5 houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in Nghi Son town from Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Company Limited ( NSRP).

Comrade Truong Ba Duyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghi Son Town Party Committee, presented flowers to thank NSRP.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hiroaki Honjo, Head of Administration, Society & Community and Public Relations, shared: “We always consider social responsibility as a core part of NSRP’s sustainable development strategy. In addition to production and business activities, the company constantly implements community support programs to improve the quality of life of local people. We hope that these houses will be a solid foundation for households to settle down, thereby feeling secure in working and moving towards a better future.”

On behalf of the leaders of Nghi Son town, comrade Truong Ba Duyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of Nghi Son Town Party Committee, sincerely thanked NSRP for its affection and concern for Nghi Son town in general and the Movement to build houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the town in particular. He hoped that in the coming time, the company would continue to pay attention and accompany the town to implement social security programs in the area.

It is known that these are 5 out of 10 houses that NSRP supported to build in response to Directive 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the Campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in 2024 - 2025, with a total cost of 800 million VND. Of which, 5 houses were given to poor households in Nghi Son town and the remaining 5 were given to disadvantaged households in Quan Son district.

Not only having material significance, these houses also demonstrate NSRP's care and sharing with the community; demonstrating NSRP's long-term commitment to accompany local authorities in fulfilling social responsibility for the area where the factory is located.
