100 children learn to be army soldiers

On July 11, Can Tho City Youth Union and Can Tho City Military Command jointly organized the Military Semester program - 2024 for 100 children aged 11-17 to participate.

The military semester is a model to arouse and educate patriotism and national pride. In addition, the program will help children and teenagers love and believe in the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, contributing to raising the responsibility of the young generation towards society.

Mr. Tran Viet Tuan - Deputy Secretary of Can Tho City Youth Union - said that this is the 14th year the program has been organized for children to have an environment to practice discipline, learn life skills, learn and feel the value of love, the value of productive labor.

This helps nurture the soul and creates an important stepping stone for children to develop more comprehensively.

This time, 100 young soldiers will attend a 10-day class (from July 11 to 20) at Infantry Regiment 932 (Can Tho City Military Command).

Students participate in political education classes, training and practice: learning team regulations, etiquette, manners, internal order, life skills training, etc.

There are also other supporting activities such as self-defense martial arts, survival skills training in the natural environment: fire prevention, fire fighting and escape skills in case of fire, swimming...
