Binh Thuan: A group of tourists from Ho Chi Minh City traveling to Phan Thiet had symptoms of food poisoning, 10 people were hospitalized.
On the afternoon of July 15, Phan Thiet City Medical Center received 10 patients with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, suspected of being caused by food poisoning. By evening, their health had stabilized, they were alert, and some were able to eat and drink normally again.
They were part of a group of 60 people from a medical unit in Ho Chi Minh City who came to Phan Thiet for a weekend vacation. After eating at a restaurant on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, Ham Tien Ward, 10 people showed signs of food poisoning and were taken to Phan Thiet City Medical Center for emergency treatment.
The delegation sent some people to stay in Phan Thiet to support the patients, the rest continued their journey to Ho Chi Minh City.
Binh Thuan Department of Health has taken food samples for testing to find the cause of the poisoning.
