On the morning of June 18, Hong Loan - daughter of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh shared with the media the reason for asking artist Hong Nhung (artist Vu Linh's younger sister) and her daughter to leave the house and the lawsuit over inheritance rights.

Hong Loan said that she felt unsafe living with Hong Phuong and her mother.

Hong Loan said the family conflict started with the funeral livestream contract with BH Media Company. At the time of the funeral, Hong Phuong signed the contract without her consent, making Vu Linh's daughter feel disrespected.

Before the conflict, Hong Loan wanted the family to reunite to take care of the artist Vu Linh. She even intended to sell the land to buy a house for Hong Phuong and take care of everyone in the family, but Ms. Hong Nhung wanted her and Hong Phuong to co-own it.

That is what made Hong Loan unhappy. "That was the original intention. Now, I find it unnecessary because there are many conflicts with Ms. Sau's family (artist Hong Nhung - PV)," she said.

Regarding the reason for asking artist Hong Nhung and her daughter Hong Phuong to leave the house, Hong Loan said that she felt unsafe and pressured while living together. She also denied throwing Hong Phuong's belongings and clothes onto the street.

“Both of them were very spiritual, which put pressure on me. They brought many charms to put on my father’s altar, which scared me, so I had to ask them to move out. After that, Ms. Sau and Hong Phuong refused to come and get the things. I just cleaned everything up and put it aside for everyone to come and get it,” she said.

When things were tense and no common ground could be found, Hong Loan also suggested that Kim Nga, who had taken care of artist Vu Linh for many years, return to her hometown to take care of her elderly parents. However, Ms. Kim Nga later made offensive posts about her on social media.

Regarding the property dispute lawsuit with artist Hong Nhung, Hong Loan said that she has never wanted to get involved in litigation.

However, when she received the news that artist Hong Nhung was suing her, she said she would follow suit. "I'm just afraid that my father will be sad or that it will affect him, but I can handle everything else," she said.

Previously, on June 15, Hong Phuong announced statements about the amount of condolence money, funeral expenses for artist Vu Linh as well as the tomb construction to the media.

However, Hong Loan said she did not accept because she thought Hong Phuong and her mother were ambiguous about money. Both of them made their own decisions about income and expenses, without consulting her. Only when everything was done did Hong Phuong text Hong Loan to inform her of the final figure.

"Phuong showed me the book recording the funeral offerings but it was not clear. Finally, Phuong informed me that the remaining funeral offering amount was only about 13 million VND.

What I care about most is that people send donations to my father. I find the statements that Hong Phuong has posted unacceptable. If there are people from abroad who have donated, Phuong should send me a list of them, otherwise I won't know if they are passed back and forth like this.

I would also like to take this opportunity to tell everyone, whoever has sent money to Uncle Thanh, Hong Phuong and Kim Nga, please let me know, to thank everyone or return it to the audience, to do charity to accumulate merit for my father", said artist Vu Linh's daughter.

The artist's daughter said that what made her saddest was that right after Vu Linh passed away, his children started making a fuss over property disputes. She herself also felt guilty towards her father.

“I don’t want bad news to spread out so that people can laugh at my father. Because when he was alive, my father was very secretive about his personal life, and had a brilliant halo. Right now, I just hope that everything will be resolved quickly and peacefully. I hope that my family will be peaceful, so that my father can rest in peace.

Later, I also asked for permission to do business at my father's house, to have income, take care of the family and to give my father peace of mind," she said.
