On August 3, Yen Chau District People's Committee held a conference to review 6 months of implementing Project 06/CP of the Government in 2023; summarize the peak period of granting citizen identification cards and electronic identification accounts to citizens in the district.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Party Committee, the district government and the communes and towns in the district focused on leading, directing and drastically implementing the contents of Project 06/CP of the Government. Directing the police force to continue implementing solutions to clean up citizen information data in the district that has been updated to the National Population Database system through registration, residence management and document sources provided by the Ministry of Public Security. Currently, the district police are managing and maintaining information updates for 19,304 households, with 85,104 permanent residents; 608 households, 1,787 temporary residents. In the 6 months, 3,246 CCCDs were issued, 35,531 electronic identification accounts were collected. Mobilizing the participation of socio-political organizations, the Fatherland Front to propagate and guide people to install the VneID electronic identification application. 30,020 level 1 and level 2 electronic identification accounts have been activated, reaching 102% of the target assigned by the province.
At the Conference, delegates raised difficulties and obstacles in implementing Project 06, such as: Uneven educational level, difficult economic conditions, some elderly, sick, mentally ill, do not have smartphones, or do not use landline phone numbers. The number of citizens absent for long periods of time, frequently changing their place of residence... affects the issuance of CCCD and electronic identification accounts.
In the coming time, the district will maintain the effective operation of the Working Group to implement Project 06 at all levels, especially at the commune, hamlet, and sub-region levels. Strengthen propaganda about digital transformation and Project 06 so that local people know and proactively participate in implementation.
On this occasion, the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 10 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 groups and 15 individuals who had achievements in implementing Project 06 in the district.
