In addition, the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board also has local food stalls to serve visitors on the occasion of the Bai Choi art performance. Talking to us, Ms. Inge (from Germany) expressed: “I am very excited to come to Vietnam, especially to participate in activities during the traditional Vietnamese New Year. Tourists visit and learn about the origin and story of the relics.
According to the My Son Cultural Heritage Management Board: In the first days of the new year 2025, My Son has become an attractive destination attracting a large number of visitors. The total number of visitors during Tet (from the 29th of the lunar calendar to the 6th of the Lunar New Year) reached 10,875, of which 8,565 were foreign visitors and 2,310 were Vietnamese visitors.
Apsara dance is widely enjoyed by tourists.
“My family arrived early because we were afraid of the large number of tourists, but when we arrived at around 9am, there were already many people lining up to buy tickets. I was a bit surprised because the weather was quite hot but the number of visitors was still very large,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hoa (Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province).
Programs during the Lunar New Year not only create conditions for local people in the heritage community to improve their livelihoods, but also develop intangible cultural values in the heritage area, contributing to enriching tourism products, bringing a unique traditional cultural space for visitors.
