The program is a series of meaningful and practical activities such as medical examination and free medicine distribution for local people; visiting and wishing a happy new year to local Party committees, authorities, village elders, village chiefs, prestigious people, people participating in protecting landmarks and border lines; giving gifts to policy families, meritorious people, women's union members with especially difficult circumstances in the area; awarding scholarship funds to students in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guards" and the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school".
Along with that are activities of wrapping Chung cake, cultural and artistic exchanges, organizing folk games and food stalls... creating a spring atmosphere for ethnic people.

Speaking at the program, Colonel Cao Huu Cuong, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Border Guard, emphasized: In 2024, despite many difficulties, units under the Provincial Border Guard have coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to implement many effective and practical programs and movements to help people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, improve their lives; thereby building solidarity between the army and the people, building a strong all-people border defense, firmly managing and protecting border security and sovereignty, and building solidarity, friendship and cooperation with localities of neighboring countries.

In 2025, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command plans to organize the program "Warm Border Spring for the People" with many practical activities, expressing the deep gratitude of Border Guard officers and soldiers, Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and local organizations to the ethnic people in the border areas of the Fatherland who have stood side by side with the Border Guard force in the work of managing and protecting the national border.
The Organizing Committee presented gifts to policy families, meritorious people, and women members in especially difficult circumstances in the area.
The activities contribute to consolidating and further tightening the relationship between the army and the people, building and consolidating the increasingly solid people's border defense posture, promoting the combined strength of the entire political system in managing and protecting the national border, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area.
Over the years, the program "Spring on the border warms the hearts of the villagers" has mobilized the participation, cooperation and contribution of all levels, sectors, and benefactors inside and outside the province with a total gift value of nearly 2.5 billion VND given to the people in the border area, including border protection forces and students from Laos. |
