After releasing the wild individuals into the natural environment, Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh) will continue to monitor and protect to ensure the safety of the species.

Vu Quang National Park releases 150 animals into the wild

On the morning of April 22, Vu Quang National Park organized the reception and release of 150 wild animals handed over by the Hanoi Wildlife Rescue Center. Representatives of departments and branches of Ha Tinh province, Hanoi city and leaders of Vu Quang district attended.

Of the 150 animals released into the wild, 21 individuals belong to group IB, listed in the Vietnam and world red books, including: white pheasant (3 individuals); ja va pangolin (2 individuals); king cobra (13 individuals) and dwarf loris (3 individuals).

52 individuals belong to group IIB, regulated in the list of endangered and rare forest animals, including: bee-eating kite (1 individual); python (1 individual); red-faced monkey (1 individual); golden monkey (1 individual); boxwood turtle (1 individual) and monocled cobra (47 individuals).

77 individuals belong to group TT, regulated in the list of common animal groups, including: northern silver cheeked weasel (1 individual); large mole rat (4 individuals); red-whiskered bulbul (5 individuals); Japanese white-eye (5 individuals); stone migratory bird (60 individuals) and dove (2 individuals).

Animals are moved to suitable areas for release.

After releasing the wild animals into the natural environment, Vu Quang National Park will continue to monitor and protect them to ensure their safety.
