According to British press, King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, discovered during prostate surgery.
News of the monarch's health was released by Buckingham Palace after King Charles underwent a routine check-up. In a statement, Buckingham Palace said "another matter of concern has been identified" after Charles spent three nights in hospital in January. According to Buckingham Palace, Charles "remains completely positive and looks forward to returning to duty" after his cancer diagnosis.
After the news broke, Prince Harry flew to the UK to support King Charles for a few days. Experts believe that King Charles' cancer will finally force Harry to put aside the four-year rift and reunite the Royal Family.
According to The Sun, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wished King Charles a "full and speedy recovery".
The last time Charles was seen in public was on 4 February, when he waved and smiled as he walked to church in Sandringham with Queen Camilla and the vicar. It was the first time the public had seen him since being discharged from hospital.
