Charter capital of Dak Nong cooperatives reaches over 338 billion VND

Dak Nong currently has 188 cooperative groups and 310 cooperatives. The total charter capital of Dak Nong cooperatives is over 338,270 million VND with 18,416 members and associate members. The province has 239 cooperatives in operation, 71 cooperatives have stopped operating, applied for temporary suspension of operation and are waiting for dissolution.

In 2024, Dak Nong will establish 31 cooperatives, increasing the current number of cooperatives to 310 cooperatives.

In 2024, the Cooperative Union will actively coordinate to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents and policies to support the development of the collective economy.

The province implements Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the collective economy in the new period, and the Law on Cooperatives 2023.

Mr. Nguyen Khai, Chairman of Dak Nong Cooperative Union, awarded certificates of merit from the Executive Committee of Dak Nong Cooperative Union to cooperatives with outstanding achievements in 2024.

The Cooperative Union coordinates with the Provincial People's Committee to approve cooperatives and cooperative groups to participate in projects on model points for product consumption linkage chains and to replicate new cooperative models.

Dak Nong implements incentive policies, creating conditions for cooperatives and other economic sectors to invest in cooperatives. Cooperatives focus on innovating technology, production equipment, applying and transferring scientific and technical advances to increase productivity and product quality.

Cooperatives promote linkages in production and business. Awareness of cadres and party members about collective economy and cooperatives has changed positively.

Mr. Ho Gam, Chairman of Dak Nong Farmers' Association, said that the Farmers' Association has actively encouraged farmers to participate in the collective economy.

Cooperatives contribute to creating jobs, organizing production, promoting agricultural, farmer and rural development. Changes in production and business of cooperatives contribute to the locality in completing the criteria of communes meeting new rural standards, advanced new rural standards, bringing stability to political and social order, creating conditions for socio-economic development.

The conference set out targets to strive for in 2025. By 2025, Dak Nong will attract at least 15-20% of households in the province to participate in collective economic forms, or use services of collective economic sectors. The rate of cooperative unions and agricultural cooperatives operating effectively, with production linked to the value chain of the province's key products, will reach 30%.

Representatives of cooperatives contributing opinions in the report should clearly state the performance results of cooperatives with good achievements.

Dak Nong strives for 100% of cadres, members and workers of the Cooperative to be informed of the Party and State's guidelines and policies.

In 2025, the collective economy will compete to achieve achievements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards welcoming the 14th National Party Congress; welcoming the 4th Congress of Dak Nong Cooperative Alliance and the 7th Congress of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, term 2025-2030.
