Vinh Loc speeds up construction progress of key traffic projects

At present, Vinh Loc district is implementing 3 key traffic projects with a total investment of 240.5 billion VND. In order to complete the projects soon and put them into use, the district is focusing on directing construction units to speed up the progress, ensuring quality and time as prescribed.

The road project from Bong urban center connecting Provincial Road 516B to National Highway 217 to Ha Trung district has a length of more than 6.3km, with a total investment of 200 billion VND. Currently, the two construction units, Tan Son Construction Joint Stock Company and Thang Binh Electrical and Irrigation Construction Company Limited, are focusing on speeding up the progress. The representative of the project construction consortium - Mr. Nguyen Dang Tao, Director of Thang Binh Electrical Construction and Irrigation Construction Company Limited, said: "Immediately after receiving the site handover, we focused on human resources, machinery, and equipment to speed up the progress. Currently, on the 2 sections of the route with a length of more than 3km, up to this point, the unit has completed the construction of the embankment of the K95 and K98 roads, completed the spreading of 800m of type 2 crushed stone, installed 12 culverts across the road... with the estimated work volume of about 60%. However, there is still nearly 300m of land clearance in Vinh Thinh commune due to project adjustments. Therefore, we request Vinh Loc district to promptly complete the land clearance on the remaining sections to ensure progress."

The project to repair and upgrade Provincial Road 522, the section connecting National Highway 45 with the main axis of Vinh Loc town center to Buoi river dike, with a length of 1.32km and a total investment of 29.5 billion VND, is being accelerated by the construction unit. Immediately after the project started construction in October 2023, the construction unit mobilized machinery and human resources for construction. Up to this point, the route has completed parts of the work such as completing precast components, installing 400m of left-side ditches, completing fences, and filling K98 foundations for 250m... The total volume of work is estimated at about 30%, ensuring compliance with the investor's requirements.

In addition to the above two projects, the project to renovate and upgrade the road from Dong Muc village cultural house to Soc Son 3 village cultural house, Vinh Hung commune, with a length of 2.8km, started in August 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2024. To date, the estimated volume of work has reached about 90%.

Deputy Director of the Vinh Loc District Construction Investment Project Management Board, Trinh Tuan Vu, said: "Vinh Loc District is focusing on constructing 3 key traffic projects, the progress of which is guaranteed according to the requirements set by the district. In particular, the road project from Bong urban center connecting Provincial Road 516B to National Highway 217 to Ha Trung district is considered an important traffic route, connecting Bong urban area with Ha Linh urban area (Ha Trung), creating a driving force to promote the district's socio-economic development. Up to now, the amount of work completed is estimated at about 45%. The locality is striving for the project to be completed and put into use in the first quarter of 2025".
