On January 19, information from the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province said that this locality has just announced 4 more water areas for entertainment activities in Ha Long Bay, including the areas: Ba Hang, Tung Sau; Vung Vieng fishing village, Hang Co.

In Ha Long Bay, there are 4 water areas that are allowed to organize entertainment activities.

Specifically, Ba Hang area has an area of ​​16.04 hectares; Tung Sau lagoon area has an area of ​​46.43 hectares; Vung Vieng fishing village area has an area of ​​73.67 hectares; Hang Co area has an area of ​​43.22 hectares.

Thus, up to now, in Ha Long Bay, there are 8 areas that have been announced by the Provincial People's Committee as qualified to conduct entertainment business. After that, the Ha Long Bay Management Board will sign contracts with qualified businesses to organize services for tourists.

Previously, Thanh Nien had many articles reflecting on the situation of some recreational activities on Ha Long Bay such as kayaking, rowing boats... operating without complying with the regulations of Decree 48/2019/ND-CP dated June 5, 2019 of the Government.

After the above reflection, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province directed and requested the agencies to announce 4 water areas that are allowed to operate, including: Luon cave area, area: 5.23 ha; Cua Van fishing village area, area: 29.56 ha; Dong Tien lake area - Trinh Nu cave area, area: 32.55 ha; Cong Do area, area: 62.36 ha.

The announcement of the recreational activity area in Ha Long Bay has "untied" many obstacles in investment and business activities of underwater tourism services such as kayaking, boating... on the bay for many years now according to Decree 48/2019/ND-CP regulating the management of activities of means of water recreation and entertainment.
