On November 17, 2024, Vietnam Children's Magazine held the 2024 Happy School Writing and Voting Contest Honor Ceremony, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.
The Writing and Voting Contest "Happy School 2024" was initiated to create a useful playground for students to express their feelings, thoughts and desires about a happy learning environment.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding individuals and groups, honored schools with the highest voting scores nationwide, and typical articles, contributing to the movement of developing happy schools and improving the quality of education in Vietnam.
Specifically, in the happy school voting category, the Organizing Committee announced the Top 100 and 500 happy schools in 2024, honoring the top 100 happy schools.
For the writing category, the Organizing Committee announced the Top 1,000 promising articles, Top 100 promising articles, Top 50 and Top 10 impressive articles.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy, Head of the Organizing Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Children Magazine, affirmed: "Each article submitted to the contest is a profound story, truly reflecting the feelings and wishes of the students. We respect and appreciate the students' sharing of memorable moments at their school, with teachers and friends. In particular, the contest is a place for students to not only express their thoughts about happiness, but also spread positive energy for a community of love, solidarity, and mutual respect."

Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Vuong Huong Giang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said: "Every day at school is not only a journey of learning, but also an opportunity for students to discover themselves and build beautiful memories with teachers and friends. The enthusiastic participation of students and the support from their families and schools have created great success for this year's competition, affirming the value of a happy and friendly school environment in educational life.
In particular, this honoring ceremony is also a deep gratitude to teachers across the country who have made continuous efforts for the development of education on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
