Honoring 45 outstanding digital transformation units, products and solutions

Vietnam Digital Awards is an annual award, sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications, to honor outstanding digital transformation achievements of state agencies, public service units, businesses and individuals who have contributed to promoting national digital transformation.

The award honors agencies, organizations and individuals with outstanding digital transformation achievements in 5 categories, including: Outstanding state agencies in digital transformation; Outstanding enterprises and public service units in digital transformation; Outstanding digital technology products, services and solutions; Digital transformation products and solutions for the community; Foreign technology products, services and solutions (this category alone has no participating units this year).

After 2 rounds of judging, the organizing committee selected 45 agencies, businesses, public service units and excellent digital transformation products and solutions to honor with the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2024.

Regarding the award recipients, the new feature of Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 is to prioritize honoring the digital transformation achievements of 11 state agencies for their breakthroughs in providing public services to serve people and businesses.

In addition, the award also honored 6 public service units, 9 enterprises and 19 digital transformation solutions promoting the development of the digital economy. This year is also the first time that the award honored 4 digital transformation products and solutions aimed at serving the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, former Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Head of the Award Organizing Committee, said that the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award 2024 was officially launched on April 16, 2024, closely following the Government's orientation of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, that is, digital transformation activities in 2024 are prioritized for key implementation with the theme "Developing the digital economy with 4 pillars: information technology industry; digitalization of economic sectors; digital governance; digital data - An important driving force for rapid and sustainable socio-economic development".

In which, digital economic development takes knowledge and digital data as the main production factors, digital technology as the core driving force and modern digital infrastructure as the important foundation.

In its 7th year, the Award attracted many outstanding quality profiles, applying many new technologies, such as: artificial intelligence (AI), big data, Internet of Things, blockchain, cloud computing; many typical technology solutions and digital transformation models, with outstanding highlights on digital data in the fields of public administration, finance, education, industrial production, communications, etc.

According to Dr. Nguyen Minh Hong, the Vietnam Digital Technology Award Voting and Honoring Program is increasingly receiving support from the Ministry of Information and Communications, central ministries and branches as well as localities, the attention and participation of state agencies, enterprises operating in all areas of economic and social life, being a place for digital technology enterprises to introduce their digital technology products and solutions. The Vietnam Digital Communications Association will continue to organize the Award in the following years with adjustments and improvements in the organization method to suit the orientation of the Party, the Government, the Ministry of Information and Communications, as well as the advances of digital technology.

Up to now, after 7 years of organization, the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award has reached more than 16,000 agencies and enterprises in 63 provinces and cities, attracting more than 2,000 entries; honoring nearly 400 agencies, enterprises, and outstanding digital transformation units and typical digital transformation products and solutions.

(2) People's Committee of Lang Son province;

(3) Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City;

(4) State Treasury;

(5) Tay Ninh Department of Information and Communications;

(6) National Population Data Center - Department of Administrative Police for Social Order, Ministry of Public Security;

(7) Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union;

(8) National Registration Office of Secured Transactions, Ministry of Justice;

(9) Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security;

(10) Thu Duc City People's Committee;
