According to the measurement results in September 2024, the average mobile Internet download speed of VinaPhone users reached 59.13 Mbps; the average mobile Internet upload speed reached 24.14 Mbps. Previously, according to the measurement results in August 2024, VinaPhone's download speed was 61.06 Mbps; the upload speed reached 24.87 Mbps. Thus, for 2 consecutive months, VinaPhone has always been the network operator ranked first in terms of mobile Internet speed in Vietnam.

The i-Speed ​​Internet access speed measurement system by Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) is a neutral measurement system. Users can proactively choose measurement points, perform measurements, and self-evaluate their Internet access speed according to the standards and packages provided by network operators, thus ensuring the objectivity of measurement results, most clearly reflecting the quality of mobile access speed of network operators.

In recent times, in order to improve user experience, VinaPhone has continuously focused on investing in improving service quality and optimizing the system to increasingly improve mobile speed.

Previously, in March 2024, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) successfully won the auction for the C2 frequency block (3700MHz - 3800MHz) for 5G. Winning the auction for the C2 frequency block allows VNPT to have many network equipment options, reasonable 5G network deployment costs, meeting the strategy of deploying the highest speed 5G network in Vietnam, providing customers with super-speed 5G experiences.

Along with the 3700-3800 MHz frequency band, VNPT also owns the 1800 MHz frequency band, which will be a great advantage in promoting the 5G network in the coming time, while creating the premise for the development of the 6G network in the future. This effort by VNPT in recent months has also helped the average download speed of mobile broadband internet in Vietnam to improve significantly, with 5 consecutive months of growth since April 2024.

The results of data measured through i-Speed ​​will help state management agencies and telecommunications enterprises in Vietnam have more basis to improve user experience, increase mobile speed and internet access quality in Vietnam.

Previously, in 2023, VinaPhone was also announced by Speedtest (independent testing organization Ookla) as the fastest mobile network in Vietnam.
