Vietfood & Beverage - Propack 2023 - International exhibition specializing in food, beverage and processing technology equipment, food and beverage packaging opened on November 8 in Hanoi. The event to promote trade and investment in the food and beverage industry attracted 250 domestic and international enterprises to introduce innovative solutions, quality ingredients, modern machinery and advanced technology.

Participating in Vietfood & Beverage - Propack 2023 are prestigious Vietnamese enterprises in the food industry such as: Golden Sand, TH True Food, Tan Nhat Huong, Chinh Son Tea, Nha Trang Bird's Nest... and brands in the packaging industry such as: VMS, Thuan Thanh, Ngoc Long, Hanel PT...

Regarding foreign business booths, the highlight of the exhibition is the Korean Pavilion introducing typical products of the land of kimchi such as: rice cakes, seaweed, dried persimmons, red ginseng and processed products from ginseng, dried and frozen seafood... The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) booth representing seafood exporters participating in the exhibition especially attracted the attention of visitors.

In recent times, the Vietnamese food and beverage market has grown strongly and especially recovered positively after the difficult period caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This is one of the industries that domestic and international enterprises assess as having many prospects for development in terms of market size and growth rate in the coming time.

Mr. Bui Trung Nghia - Vice President of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) assessed that this exhibition will help businesses and visitors grasp the trends of new products and technologies in the food and beverage industry and new approaches to production, processing, packaging, and consumption of food and beverages in the coming time.

At the same time, the Vietfood & Beverage - Propack 2023 exhibition was emphasized by the VCCI representative as an opportunity for businesses to learn, connect and build business cooperation relationships with domestic and international businesses, manufacturers and distributors, contributing to expanding the production and supply chain on a global scale.

Trade connection programs and specialized seminars are practical activities coordinated by the exhibition organizers, which will also provide businesses with the opportunity to directly contact and receive information and raise awareness of standards, production processes and challenges in management and development of production and supply chains, ” said Mr. Bui Trung Nghia.
