Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank - HoSE: VCB) has just announced the decision to change the Chief Accountant position.
Accordingly, Ms. La Thi Hong Minh was appointed to the position of Chief Accountant of Vietcombank from December 7, 2023, effective for a period of 5 years.
According to Vietcombank, Ms. La Thi Hong Minh was born in 1973, has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Banking Academy, and a master's degree in Finance, Money Circulation and Credit from National Economics University.
Before holding the position of Chief Accountant, Ms. Minh held the position of Head of Operation Supervision Department - Vietcombank Head Office.
Ms. La Thi Hong Minh was appointed as chief accountant of Vietcombank.
At the same time, the bank also approved the decision to dismiss Ms. Le Thi Huyen Dieu, the person in charge of Accounting at Vietcombank, from performing the responsibilities and powers of Chief Accountant. The effective date is December 7.
Previously, on November 24, Vietcombank's General Meeting of Shareholders approved the dismissal of Ms. La Thi Hong Minh from the Supervisory Board for the 2023-2028 term to assign her to other work. The number of members of Vietcombank's Supervisory Board after Ms. Minh's dismissal is 3 members.
On the same day, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Deputy General Director, was dismissed and elected to the position of Member of Vietcombank's Board of Directors for the 2023 - 2028 term.
After electing additional members, Vietcombank's Board of Directors has a total of 10 people, including Chairman Pham Quang Dung and 9 members of the Board of Directors: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - General Director of Vietcombank, Mr. Shojiro Mizoguchi - Deputy General Director;
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Mr. Nguyen My Hao, Mr. Hong Quang, Mr. Do Viet Hung, independent member of the Board of Directors is Mr. Vu Viet Ngoan and most recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh.
On the stock market, in the morning trading session on December 7, VCB shares were fluctuating around VND85,700/share with a trading volume of more than 460,000 units .
