(Dan Tri) - The Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Long province, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
On the afternoon of January 23, the Central Internal Affairs Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the Politburo's decision to let Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province, stop participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and stop holding the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Politburo also decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Bui Van Nghiem to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

On behalf of the Politburo, presenting the decision to Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac said that Mr. Nghiem is a cadre who matured early from the locality.
Having held many positions in the locality, Mr. Bui Van Nghiem has always been evaluated as a cadre with a firm stance, viewpoint, and political mettle; good moral qualities, a simple and modest lifestyle, and always upholding the exemplary character and sense of responsibility of a cadre, party member, and head of a local Party Committee.
The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission hopes that Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, in his new position, will continue to promote his professional capacity, promote the results and work experience he has achieved, continue to make efforts and work with the leadership of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Bui Van Nghiem pledged to continuously strive and work with the leadership of the Central Internal Affairs Commission to do a good job of advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on policies and strategies in the fields of internal affairs, anti-corruption, and judicial reform.
He also promised to improve his sense of responsibility, quickly approach the assigned field, continue to study, cultivate, practice, maintain moral qualities, lifestyle and improve working capacity.
Mr. Bui Van Nghiem was born in 1966, from Vinh Long. He has a PhD in Political Science, a Master's degree in Political Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Party Building and State Administration.
Mr. Nghiem has held many positions such as: Deputy Chief of Office, Chief of Office of Vung Liem District Party Committee (Vinh Long); Vice Chairman, Acting Chairman of Vung Liem District People's Committee; Secretary of Vung Liem District Party Committee; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Council.
In April 2021, he held the position of Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Long province.
