I am hesitating between Literature Pedagogy and Journalism, not knowing which major is more suitable for today's society.
I am a parent whose child is in grade 12. My child is good at writing, communicating and hosting programs. When asked about his career aspirations, he said he wanted to pursue Pedagogy or Journalism. I have witnessed him guiding and teaching secondary school students to write social essays very well and saw him host several events at school and centers in a systematic manner.
I am not an expert in journalism or education, so I would like to ask for advice from those who are pursuing these two fields. Which major should I pursue that is suitable for today's society and which one is more developed? Thank you for your advice.
