[Video] Ho Chi Minh City: The first 22 wards and communes announced the end of the measles epidemic

Since the beginning of 2025, the number of measles cases in Ho Chi Minh City has decreased sharply in all age groups. Notably, in week 12/2025, 50 wards and communes in 13 districts and Thu Duc City recorded no new cases for 3 consecutive weeks.

The Department of Health has reviewed the documents and reported to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to declare the end of the epidemic in 22 wards and communes that meet the criteria.

Despite declaring the end of the epidemic, Ho Chi Minh City continues to monitor, detect suspected cases early and implement a vaccination program to ensure children are fully vaccinated, preventing the risk of a re-outbreak.
