On the afternoon of October 11, the official Fanpage of Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) informed that SJC gold stores at the Central Branch - Da Nang will reopen from October 14, after a period of temporary closure and suspension of transactions.
Specifically, 3 SJC branch stores at the addresses: 185 Nguyen Van Linh, 193 Hung Vuong and Handicraft store No. 8 Bach Dang (all in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city) will resume trading early next week.
According to the reporter's observations at the two branches at 185 Nguyen Van Linh and 193 Hung Vuong on October 11, the company has arranged for employees to be on duty, instead of remaining closed as before. The stores have reopened but have not yet conducted transactions.
Previously, as VietNamNet reported, 2 branches of SJC in Da Nang closed and posted signs temporarily suspending transactions for the past 2 weeks, causing confusion and difficulties for customers in transactions.
It is worth mentioning that SJC branches in Da Nang are closed but there is no information about the reason or when they will reopen. Customers have repeatedly contacted the store phone number as well as SJC's hotline but no one answers the phone.
On the morning of October 11, the price of SJC gold bars was listed at 82.5 million VND/tael for buying and 84.5 million VND/tael for selling, unchanged from yesterday's closing price.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings of type 1-5 was listed by SJC at only 81.5-82.9 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged in the buying direction but increased by 100 thousand VND/tael in the selling direction compared to the end of the trading session on October 10.
