After 2 seasons of not being able to win the championship, Hanoi FC has prepared very carefully for the new campaign, with a high determination to reclaim the number one position in the V-League. The first challenge for the capital team is Binh Dinh - a tough opponent.
Last season, Binh Dinh, despite saying goodbye to many key players, still won the runner-up position. This season, the team from the land of Vo bought foreign players including central defender Angel Salaza, 2 strikers Argolo Morbeck and Alves Alisson.
Binh Dinh has changed more than half of its squad compared to last season. This is a difficult problem for coach Bui Doan Quang Huy, in the context of opponents having strong investments and meeting Hanoi FC in the opening match of LPBank V-League 2024-2025.

In the 79th minute, Binh Dinh had a sharp counter-attack, luckily for Hanoi FC, goalkeeper Van Hoang rushed out of the penalty area to head the ball away. Immediately after, the former SL Nghe An goalkeeper made an excellent save for the home team at Hang Day Stadium from a strong shot from the visiting foreign player.
Despite many attacks, it was not until the 83rd minute that the home team opened the score. Receiving a pass from his teammate, captain Van Quyet fired a shot from outside the penalty area, the ball flew dangerously past Tuan Linh. 1-0 was also the final result of the match.
