The road is about 2km long, of which the section through Tan Tra 1 quarter, Tan Binh ward, which is more than 700m long, has been paved for many years, but the section through Tan Tra 2 quarter and Thanh Binh quarter, Tan Binh ward has not been invested in.

Therefore, he hopes that the authorities and higher-level governments will soon study and build this road, both to create a spacious appearance for the city and to ensure safety for people when traveling.

Mr. Do Xuan Thanh, who lives near the road, said: The old An Duong Vuong road, where a large population is concentrated, is a vital traffic route connecting inter-wards, especially where workers and students travel a lot. Built a long time ago, however, due to lack of maintenance and repair, the road has now seriously degraded, with potholes, peeling road surface, and rainwater eroding both sides of the road. This is also the main reason why traffic accidents often occur on this road. Therefore, we hope that authorities at all levels will pay attention to investing in construction, creating favorable conditions for people to travel. "Compared to some other roads in Dong Xoai city, this road is large, parallel to National Highway 14, but it is severely damaged, so we really hope that the State will soon pay attention to investing and constructing it" - Mr. Thanh suggested.

According to local residents, this road has been in existence for a long time and was repaired, upgraded and paved in 2016. As it is a major traffic route with many large vehicles passing by and the lack of drainage ditches on both sides, the road quickly deteriorates, the road surface is peeling, the rocks are jagged and there are many potholes, making traffic very difficult and posing a risk to traffic safety.

Vice Chairman of Tan Binh Ward People's Committee Pham Van Khoi said: People are used to calling this route An Duong Vuong Street, but in fact there is no street name. This is an existing route from ancient times, passing through 3 neighborhoods and connecting inter-wards, from Tan Binh to Tien Thanh. In recent years, the State has paid attention to investment in construction, but only stopped at asphalt penetration. Along with that, the rapid urbanization process, in the past time, a number of major roads were built in the area, so many vehicles carrying materials passed by, causing the road surface to deteriorate more seriously. In 2021, the Ward People's Committee made a request for investment policy, but at that time the budget was limited, so the city considered prioritizing a number of other more important routes. In response to people's feedback, the Ward People's Committee will continue to make a request to higher levels, hoping for attention to investment in construction to reduce difficulties for people to travel.
