Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province received the Excellent Emulation Flag in 2024

On February 20, in Hanoi, the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held its 3rd Conference to approve the full-term working program of the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province was awarded the Emulation Flag for its outstanding achievements.

With the spirit of urgent, democratic and highly responsible work, the Conference unanimously approved the Operating Regulations of the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029. At the same time, discussions and comments were conducted on the following contents: Implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more; unanimously agreed to negotiate and add 2 members to the Presidium, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029...

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Front in 2024. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province was honored to receive the Emulation Flag for units with outstanding achievements.

Specifically, in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province has made efforts, strived, and been creative in implementing tasks in all areas. Including: Directing and successfully organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, ensuring solemnity, efficiency and on schedule. To celebrate the Congress, the whole province has deployed 375 practical models, works, and tasks, contributing to improving the quality of people's lives and developing the local socio-economy.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has supported the construction of 346 houses and 33 hygienic toilets, with a total cost of over 21.4 billion VND. Of which: 10 billion VND was donated to Dien Bien province to build 200 Great Unity houses; built 146 Great Unity houses (86 new houses, 60 houses were repaired) and 33 hygienic toilets with a total cost of over 11.4 billion VND for poor and near-poor households according to the province's criteria; presented over 81,000 Tet gifts worth nearly 57 billion VND to policy families and households in difficult circumstances.

The provincial Fatherland Front has received donations of over VND189 billion in cash and goods to help people overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 (Yagi). Of which, the provincial fund received VND166 billion; the district fund received over VND23 billion.

The 2024 National Great Unity Festival in residential areas will be held simultaneously by Quang Ninh on the same day, with the theme "Great Unity Festival - Warm military-civilian affection". The festival is associated with the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Festival.

Along with that, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also chaired and coordinated the successful implementation and organization of the election of village, hamlet and neighborhood heads on the same day. This is a favorable premise for the whole province to organize the Party congresses of villages, hamlets and neighborhoods for the 2025-2027 term with the motto "People trust - Party nominates".
