Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital receives suspected cases of poisoning.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province assigned the Department of Health to coordinate with the Central Children's Hospital and hospitals where Phu Lam Primary School students are located to examine, treat and direct hospitals in the province to treat the suspected poisoning students of Phu Lam Primary School.
Previously, Giao Thong Newspaper reported that at around 4:10 p.m. on January 21, at Phu Lam Primary School, My Lam Ward, Tuyen Quang City, 5 students showed signs of fatigue, nausea, and vomiting.
One student had a seizure. The school informed the My Lam Ward Health Station to provide first aid and take the student to Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital for examination and treatment.
Then, on January 22, the Provincial General Hospital admitted 28 students with similar symptoms. It is known that the students picked up several bottles of pink liquid solution in plastic tubes near the school gate and then shared them among themselves to drink.
After the student was hospitalized, the school searched for other children who were at risk of drinking with the student and instructed the family to take the child to the hospital.
Of the 37 students from Phu Lam Primary School who were transferred to Bach Mai Hospital and the National Children's Hospital for examination, treatment and monitoring, 2 have been discharged so far. In addition, 3 students continue to be monitored and treated at the Provincial General Hospital.
According to information from the hospital, the students of Phu Lam Primary School are currently being monitored and are in stable health. In this direction, they will be discharged from the hospital before Tet.
