(Dan Tri) - The organizing committee of the 33rd SEA Games (taking place from December 9 to December 20) has finalized the venues for football competitions. Accordingly, the medal matches in men's football will take place at Rajamangala Stadium.
Rajamangala Stadium (Bangkok, Thailand) is a fertile land for Vietnamese football. More than a month ago, the Vietnamese national team lifted the Southeast Asian championship trophy on this field, after coach Kim Sang Sik's team defeated host Thailand in the second leg of the AFF Cup 2024 final on January 5.

With the victory over Thailand at Rajamangala Stadium that day, the Vietnamese team became the first team in Southeast Asian football history to beat Thailand in both the home and away finals of the AFF Cup.
Now, the U22 Vietnam team has the opportunity to return to the holy land of Rajamangala, to seek the SEA Games gold medal at this stadium. The goal of the U22 Vietnam team at this year's SEA Games is also to seek the gold medal.

The organizing committee of the 33rd SEA Games in 2025 has officially decided on the venues for the football events of the Games. Accordingly, the men's football group stage matches will take place in Chiang Mai and Songkhla provinces.
From the semi-finals onwards, the men’s football matches will be played at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok. This is Thailand’s national stadium and also the largest stadium in the Land of the Golden Pagodas, with a capacity of over 51,500 seats.
As for the women's football, all matches will take place in Chonburi province, not far from Bangkok. The most famous city in Chonburi province is the tourist paradise of Pattaya, a beach city extremely familiar to tourists from all over the world.
