Implementation progress
Up to now, Tan Chau Town has built and repaired 120/151 houses. It is expected that the remaining houses will continue to be implemented on schedule. “I cannot express my joy and emotion when receiving a new house - a solid roof, helping my family have a stable place to live, work with peace of mind, and improve in life. Only those who have lived in dilapidated, makeshift houses, exposed to rain and wind, can fully understand the value of a solid house given by the State…” - Mr. Huynh Van Quy (Le Chanh Commune) was moved when receiving the new house. Chairman of Tan Chau Town People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Lam said that in order to complete the set goals, in the coming time, the town will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the policies of the Central Government, the province and the plan of the town's steering committee. Strengthen inspection and supervision to ensure the progress of implementation according to plan. Strengthening the mobilization of social resources, calling for support from organizations, individuals, and businesses, Tan Chau will provide maximum support to households in the process of building and repairing houses from the program, striving to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area as planned before April 30, 2025.
“Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is not only a humane act, but also demonstrates the government’s responsibility in caring for people’s lives. With the government’s strong determination and the people’s consensus, in the coming time, Tan Chau will soon achieve the goal of no more temporary and dilapidated houses, making the locality continue to become a dynamic region in the North of the province” - Chairman of Tan Chau Town People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Lam shared. |
