At the meeting, delegates met, exchanged and shared information on the socio-economic development situation; the implementation of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and the contents of the association's work and women's movements in recent times.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union Phan Thi Diem affirmed that Khmer ethnic minority women have made many contributions to the work of the union and the women's movement in recent times. Thereby, contributing to mobilizing Khmer ethnic minorities to effectively carry out socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security, contributing to building An Giang homeland to be increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union Phan Thi Diem hopes that the Women's Union at all levels will continue to pay more attention and care to the lives of Khmer ethnic minority women in the province.
