Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Council Dinh Thi Viet Huynh wishes Chol Chnam Thmay at Press Tung Pagoda

On April 11, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Council Dinh Thi Viet Huynh led a provincial delegation to visit and congratulate the 2025 Chol Chnam Thmay Festival at Press Tung Pagoda (Can Dang Commune, Chau Thanh District). Accompanying the delegation were Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Huu Ngoc; Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh and Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Chau Thanh District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan.

On behalf of the working delegation, Vice Chairwoman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council Dinh Thi Viet Huynh wished the monks, nuns and Khmer ethnic minorities a happy and joyful Chol Chnam Thmay. At the same time, she affirmed the attention of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels to the lives of ethnic minorities in the province; acknowledged the contributions of the dignitaries and officials of the Khmer Theravada Buddhist sect to the activities of the Provincial People's Council in particular and the socio-economic development of the locality.

Thereby, it is hoped that the Khmer ethnic minority people will continue to promote solidarity, strictly implement the policies of the Party and the State; compete in labor production, maintain security and order, build new rural areas, develop the socio-economy, and build the homeland of An Giang to become increasingly prosperous and beautiful.
