In the first leg of the semi-final, Singapore lost 0-2 to Vietnam at home in Jalan Besar. Tomorrow (December 29), Singapore will visit Viet Tri Stadium, with the task of defeating host Vietnam by at least 2 goals. This is a very difficult task, one could even say "impossible" for the Singapore team. However, coach Tsutomu Ogura and the Singapore players are still very confident before the second leg. Mr. Tsutomu Ogura told the Straits Times: "We have completed the first half in Singapore, the problem is how we prepare for the second half. Although 0-2 is a dangerous score, if we score a goal, who knows what could happen?". Midfielder Hami Syahin also stated: "This is a difficult task, but not impossible. We will go out on the field with strong belief and try our best to win. The whole Singapore team believes that we can do it." Singapore captain Hariss Harun also maintained a positive attitude towards this difficult task. He said: "Throughout the journey in the tournament, we have shown that if we believe in ourselves enough, Singapore can achieve positive things. It's not over yet, we still have many opportunities!".
