Youth of the Fatherland follow Uncle Ho's words

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: “Youth is the backbone of the country, the future owner of the country, the vanguard force in building and defending the Fatherland”. Keeping in mind his teachings, the youth of the Fatherland have strived to study, practice, work creatively, and contribute to society through practical movements and actions that have spread and inspired the community.

The project to digitize the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Yen Kien commune was carried out by Doan Hung District Youth Union in collaboration with the District Women's Union.

Implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo “On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have deployed and effectively carried out many practical and meaningful youth projects and tasks. Thereby, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of each union member and youth, affirming the pioneering role of youth in local socio-economic development.

Over the years, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Secretary of the Youth Union of Bang Gia commune, Ha Hoa district has been known as a typical example in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh. With his youthful strength and spirit of volunteerism, he and the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union have effectively implemented volunteer movements launched by the higher-level Youth Union with practical works and tasks, aiming at community life such as: Mobilizing resources to give thousands of gifts to poor households, policy families, students in difficult circumstances... on holidays and Tet; building youth works: Law bookcases, youth football fields, activity and entertainment spots for youth and children... The movements have attracted a large number of young union members to participate, recognized by the Party Committee, government and people.

With the achieved results, comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ha Hoa District Party Committee for his outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, period 2021 - 2023.

Identifying that studying and following Uncle Ho is the core content in the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement, the Provincial Youth Union has directed 100% of the provincial Youth Union chapters to deploy specialized study topics for Youth Union cadres and members, and young people. Strengthening propaganda, education, and orientation on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle in many rich and diverse forms; discovering, introducing, and praising advanced models in all fields... creating a spillover effect, attracting the attention of cadres, Youth Union members, and people to learn and research Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Remembering Uncle Ho's teaching "Where there is a need, there is youth, where there is difficulty, there is youth", the youth of the Land of Ancestors have launched many exciting and practical emulation movements. In the first 6 months of 2024, the youth of the whole province carried out 604 youth projects and tasks. Of which, there were 7 provincial-level youth projects and tasks; 43 district-level youth projects and tasks; 554 grassroots-level youth projects and tasks, attracting over 27,000 youth union members to participate.

Social security activities are regularly deployed, focusing on the "Winter Volunteer Campaign 2023 and Spring Volunteer Campaign 2024", Youth Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign... The whole province organized 12 medical examinations, treatment, and free medicine distribution for 3,887 people with a total value of over 500 million VND; presented over 6,000 gifts including: Warm blankets, clothes, necessities, teaching equipment... worth over 2 billion VND to policy families, poor households, students in difficult circumstances... Youth Union members in the whole province donated 1,617 units of blood at voluntary blood donation programs; carried out hundreds of clean-up campaigns, sanitized village roads, alleys, and dredged sewers...

Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has profoundly changed the awareness, sense of training morality and lifestyle of each cadre and young union member, reflected in each specific work and action. In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will continue to direct the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province to promote studying and following Uncle Ho, thereby contributing to building a model of young people in the new era with noble ideals, patriotism, self-reliance, and ambition to rise up to build the homeland and the country more and more prosperous.
