Binh Thuan Youth Pioneers in Digital Transformation

Binh Thuan Youth has been affirming itself as a pioneering and active force in promoting digital transformation.

In 2023, Binh Thuan province was honored to be chosen by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2023 with the theme "Youth pioneering digital transformation" to promote youthfulness, dynamism, creativity, and sensitivity to science and technology. Binh Thuan youth have been affirming themselves as a pioneering and active force in promoting digital transformation.

According to the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union, in recent times, the propaganda work of the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State to a large number of youth union members has been promoted, especially in cyberspace. The content and form of propaganda have been innovated, condensed, presented in the form of infographics, leaflets, trailers, short clips... Notable among them is the program of digitizing historical sites and relics via QR codes and applying VR-360 virtual reality technology at historical sites and tourist attractions...; launching the movement "each union member and member has a meaningful gift" to give gifts to tourists when visiting Binh Thuan...

In addition, to improve the digital capacity of union members and young people, the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union coordinated to organize training courses on digital transformation such as "Each union member and young person - with an AI virtual assistant" and the contest "Virtual assistant with English Olympics", attracting nearly 30,000 union members and young people to participate; supporting more than 740,000 youth and people to access online public services... In addition, 124 volunteer youth groups for community digital transformation have been established and maintained in 124 communes, wards and towns in the province. Volunteer teams regularly go to the grassroots to organize propaganda for union members, young people and people about the importance and benefits of digital transformation, knowledge about digital technology; guide people and households to use online public services, shared applications of the province...

Ms. Tran Thi Hoa Xuan, Deputy Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Youth Union, said that digital transformation is first and foremost a transformation of awareness. Therefore, in the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will focus on propaganda, raising awareness, mindset and attracting young people to actively participate in the digital transformation process. In particular, actively coordinate with digital technology enterprises to promote and support union members, youth and people to digitally transform production, business and start-ups through digital platforms; increase support and introduce youth start-up products to e-commerce platforms, promote digital economic development among union members and youth.
