From July 1, 2024, which taxes and fees will be reduced by 10-50% according to the Ministry of Finance?

From July 1 to December 31, 2024, the Ministry of Finance will reduce 50% of the following fee items:

- Fees for granting licenses to establish and operate banks.

- Fees for issuing citizen identification cards; fees for issuing licenses for establishment and operation of non-bank credit institutions;

- Fee for filing an application for intellectual property protection;

- Fees for granting certificates of practice as industrial property representatives, publishing and registering industrial property representatives;

- Fee for assessing the content of non-commercial documents to grant publishing licenses;

- License fee for importing non-commercial publications;

- Registration fee for importing publications for business purposes...

- Appraisal fee for approval of fire prevention and fighting design;

- Fees for granting licenses to send workers to work abroad for a limited period of time; industrial property fees;

- Fees for using railway infrastructure;

- Appraisal fee for granting International Travel Service Business License and Domestic Travel Service Business License;

- Assessment fee for issuing tour guide card…

- Fees in the securities sector (except for 2 fees, which are: Fees for new issuance, exchange, re-issuance of securities practice certificates for individuals practicing securities at securities companies, securities investment fund management companies and securities investment companies and fees for supervision of securities activities...

The Ministry of Finance also reduced many fees and charges by 10 - 30%, including:

- Fees for appraisal and issuance of certificates, licenses, and permits in civil aviation activities; issuance of permits to enter and exit restricted areas at airports;

- Airport and seaport entry and exit fees for foreign flights to Vietnamese airports;

- Customs fees for foreign flights to Vietnamese airports.

From January 1, 2025, the collection rates of fees and charges specified in the above Table shall comply with the provisions of the original Circulars, Circular No. 63/2023/TT-BTC and amended, supplemented or replaced Circulars (if any).
