T&T Group received the First Class Labor Medal for the third time and celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Group's establishment.

On November 30, 2023, in Hanoi, T&T Group held a ceremony to receive the First Class Labor Medal for the third time and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Group's establishment (1993-2023). This is a particularly important and meaningful event for T&T Group, marking the Group's 30-year journey of accompanying the development of a prosperous Vietnam; a recognition from the Party and State as one of the very few private economic groups honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal for the third time.

At the ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, awarded the First Class Labor Medal for the third time to T&T Group.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Minh Hai, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Board of Directors and employees of T&T Group; at the same time, highly appreciated the orientation and business strategy of T&T Group in the current period, always closely following the policies of the Party, State and Government; being sensitive and grasping well the opportunities and trends of the world economy. Mr. Ha Minh Hai also emphasized and suggested: "T&T Group will seize opportunities, promote existing potentials and the mettle and experience of an enterprise with a long history to realize sustainable development goals, apply technology to production and business activities, especially in areas that create driving forces for the economy".

In 1993, T&T Company Limited was established, one of the first private enterprises in Vietnam to be established at that time; with the main business field being the import and distribution of electrical products of Matsushita Group with major brands such as Panasonic, National and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Group. Establishing prestige and having the right direction when meeting the huge demand of consumers for Japanese electrical products with advanced technology and reasonable prices, less than 2 years after its establishment, T&T established a leading position in the whole North in its business field. In addition to popularizing new technology, T&T also trains a team of engineers to access modern techniques, and makes an important contribution to the state budget when paying taxes with a very large value.

T&T Company Limited (the predecessor of T&T Group) was established in 1993.

In the late 1990s, the country changed, implementing the Government's policy of encouraging the development of the motorbike industry, T&T quickly seized the opportunity, shifting to investing in building the largest engine, spare parts and motorbike assembly factory in Vietnam in Hung Yen, with a localization rate of up to 80%. During that period, on average, T&T Group launched about 70,000 motorbikes to the market each year, of which 80% were consumed domestically and 20% were exported to African and South American markets, creating a brand and reputation for Vietnamese motorbikes.
